Frequently Asked Questions
Do You Accept Insurance?
At Home Concierge Nurse, PLLC, accepts private pay. We do not process insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. Payments are made through online invoicing.
What Is A Concierge Nurse?
A concierge nurse (CN) is an independent practicing registered nurse. CNs are not employed by a hospital, physician or agency. Unlike home healthcare agency nurses, a concierge nurse will not bill a patient’s insurance company or government health plan. As long as the requested service is within the scope of nursing practice, a concierge nurse can provide any service that a patient may need.
What Are Your Credentials?
I am a Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in the state of North Carolina. I received my degree from Wake Technical Community College, in 2016.
I've worked in Cardiac, Hospice, Orthopedics, Emergency Room, Men and Women’s Corrections, Psych, Independent and Assisted Living, Home Health Care, Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care.
I am required to earn Continuing Education credits through various studies in my field. Any of the nurses I employ will also be registered with the Board of Nursing.
How Often Do You Visit?
Our nurses will conduct scheduled visits on a weekly basis, in accordance with the package selected by the client. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Should any client require assistance beyond their regular scheduled visits, they may reach out to our nursing team during these hours to arrange a "sick visit" for an additional fee. In the event of an emergency or if immediate assistance is needed, we strongly advise calling 911.
I Don’t Live Nearby, But I Want You To Be My Nurse!
No problem! We can discuss travel arrangements. If you are within a two hour driving distance, you will be charged for each mile over 150 miles round trip. If you are further, we can discuss flights and sleeping accommodations.
I Have Loved Ones In Your Area, Can You Help Them?
I definitely can! A few of my clients have families in a different state. They rely on me to be a second set of eyes, checking in on their loved ones weekly.
